with so much hypocritical eulogising of Nelson Mandela by so many world leaders, politicians and commentors, many who had previously labelled Mandela a terrorist or had support the South African apartheid regime, I wanted to post up one of the most sincere, heartfelt and real tributes to Mandela which truly reflects him life and his legacy.
The text of this tribute by Israeli anti-apartheid activist, Leehee Rothschild was first posted on her Facebook page and brought tears to my eyes. Leehee is one of the many activists inside Israel who are active in the struggle against Israel's apartheid and occupation regime.
